Katie and I share a bday weekend!

Birthday Week: 4 + 2 = 6

It’s been a giant week of birthdays ending with my dad’s seventieth birthday immediately!! Completely satisfied bday dad! Now we have a full home this weekend celebrating him. However for this recap, let’s rewind again to final Friday evening – October twenty fifth!

Birthday Eve

We had a household occasion for me on Friday evening with my in-laws and the boys. And really, two of Mazen’s tween pals had been right here for a sleepover, too! Thomas bought a princess cake from Albemarle Baking Co, and we loved pumpkin beer and puzzles. 

Bday Breakfast

I went to my favourite gymnasium class on Saturday morning after which got here dwelling to make a scrumptious brunch. We had bran muffins from ABC as effectively! 

Birthday Bar Crawl

I spent the subsequent little bit preparing for a birthday bar crawl! Round 3pm, a crew of pals came to visit to pregame earlier than we walked downtown – all in costumes – for a bar crawl. As promised, I went as a Scorpio!

We had Prosecco and a cheese board (and a few cake!) earlier than heading downtown. 

The boys dressed up, too, and Princess Leia match proper in!

Thomas broke out the Beetlejuice costume and took his function very significantly : ) 

We had pirates, a tech bro, watermelon sugar (ha!), King Fabi, Surprise Lady, and a skeleton. 

At Whiskey Jar, we met Milk and Cookies, Little Pink Using hood, and 80s rockers.

Outdated Usual lovers

Ultimately, the scorpion lollipops bought opened. And two of the scorpions bought eaten!!

We performed plenty of enjoyable video games and had dinner at Brightside. 

In case you might be questioning, I used to be sober on the finish of the evening and in mattress by 11 : ) We occasion, however we don’t occasion too onerous! 

Birch’s Occasion

On Sunday, I had a soccer recreation after which we had a stunning afternoon for a small occasion for Birch with a number of of his classmates. 

Clearly, at age 6 it was Minecraft themed : ) We had beautiful climate! 

Completely satisfied 6! 

Birch is Six

“Don’t smile. Attempt to not smile. Undoubtedly don’t smile!” 

Six is the age when this dude bought his angle! Haha. He’s so cool. He wears this hat to high school day-after-day!

Kindergarten Classroom Occasion

Line Dancing Class

So again to the rationale we knew the Thriller dance. Sean and I taught a line dancing class at ACAC final week! Everybody got here of their greatest Western apparel and we first discovered the dance from Footloose. 

After which we taught a model of Thriller as a line dance. There was a demo first with props! 

Everybody did such a tremendous job!
